Match Up is a free online slot machine-style tool that randomly pairs items from two separate lists. Enter text entries or upload images into two lists, spin the slots, and watch as the reels animate to reveal a random pairing. Select between Text or Images mode using the tabs at the top of the entries panel. Text mode lets you type entries, while Image mode allows you to upload pictures.
Enter items into List 1 and List 2. For text mode, type one item per line. For image mode, drag and drop or click to upload images. Each list should have at least one entry.
Enable Remove Winner to remove matched items after each spin (great for elimination-style games). Toggle Sound to turn slot machine audio effects on or off.
Click the SPIN button to start the slot machine animation. Watch both reels spin and slow down to reveal a random pairing from your two lists. Results are saved in the history panel.
Text mode lets you type or paste text entries (one per line), while Image mode allows you to upload images by dragging and dropping or clicking the upload area. Both modes work the same way for spinning and matching.
When enabled, both matched items are automatically removed from their respective lists after each spin. This is perfect for elimination-style games like Secret Santa where each person or item should only be matched once.
No, the lists can have different numbers of items. The spinner will randomly select one item from each list independently. This gives you flexibility for various matching scenarios.
Yes, by default items can be matched multiple times. If you want each item to be matched only once, enable the "Remove Winner" setting to remove items after they're matched.
Yes! All your entries, images, settings, and match history are automatically saved in your browser's local storage. They'll be restored when you return to the page. Use the Reset button to clear everything and start fresh.
